Just under a year ago, I embarked on an adventure.  I started writing a book.  This blog has helped me to get the writing juices flowing, and I am happy to say that my work is complete.  Golfing In Heels is off to the publisher, and will be bound and ready for sale in the coming months.  Writing has given me an outlet to express myself, and to share with others my perspective on life a little bit at a time.

I am sharing with you a photo of me writing this book last summer during a trip to Mexico.  I must admit, writing this book was hard work.  I went through phases where the words just poured out, and then went several weeks without touching the computer.  If you are embarking upon the same challenge (writing a book, a blog, or writing anything at all) don’t get discouraged when the words don’t come to you automatically.  In fact, during my Mexico trip, I didn’t touch the computer for the first few days.  Then, the words just bubbled up and onto the page they went.
